Shipping policy
1. Shipping Areas
We provide domestic shipping within Japan and international shipping to select regions (currently the United States). Please ensure your shipping address is accurate (including name matching and building details) to avoid any delivery issues or automatic returns.
2. Shipping Methods & Rates
We offer flat-rate shipping based on the product type:
Domestic (Japan)
- Subscription Products: Free shipping nationwide.
- Coffee Beans (Individual): Flat rate of 600 JPY.
- Gift Items: Flat rate of 1,200 JPY.
- Carriers (Yamato Transport or Japan Post) will be selected by us based on the order size. No additional fees for Hokkaido, Okinawa, or remote islands.
International (USA)
- Express Shipping: 8,000 JPY (Orders up to 2kg)
- High Volume Shipping: 12,000 JPY (Orders over 2kg)
- Carrier: All international orders are shipped via DHL Express.
- Delivery Time: Approximately 3–5 business days after shipment to the United States. Please allow 1–3 business days for order processing before shipment.
- Customs & Duties: All customs duties and import taxes are INCLUDED in the shipping fee. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery (DDP: Delivered Duty Paid).
3. Fulfillment Schedule
- Subscriptions: Orders close on the 15th and ship around the 20th of each month.
- Individual Orders: We roast and ship to ensure peak freshness. Typically fulfilled within 1-3 business days.
4. Delivery Time Slots
Please note that we cannot accept specific delivery time or date requests for international shipping.
5. Notifications & Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your delivery via the carrier's website.
6. Delays & Re-delivery
Delivery may be delayed due to customs clearance, weather, or local traffic conditions. If you are unavailable, please follow the instructions on the carrier's notice to arrange re-delivery.
7. Returns due to Non-Delivery
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or long-term absence, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping fees for re-delivery. For cancellations or refunds, please contact us via the inquiry form.
